Can I see who watched my video?
Who opened it, who watched, how far they got, and whether they clicked. That is the point of a tracked video link.
- Video analytics
- Sales video
- Tracking
This is the question sales teams ask when follow-up starts feeling like guesswork. You sent the clip. Silence. Did they ignore it, or did they watch the whole thing on the train and forget to reply?
Those are different problems. You need different next steps. So you need to see what happened.
What you can see in Vyrol
Put the video on a Share Page and you get page-level signals: views, people who stuck around, clicks on the next-step button. Useful when one link goes to a small group or a public-ish send.
Need a name next to the watch? Use Campaigns. Each person gets their own link. Then you can see opens, watch depth, and whether they hit the button, per contact.
| Question | Share Page | Campaign personal link |
|---|---|---|
| Did anyone watch? | Yes (aggregate) | Yes (per person) |
| Who watched? | Anonymous / unique visitors | Named contacts on your list |
| How much did they watch? | Engaged watches (e.g. deep views) | Watch % per person |
| Did they click the next step? | CTA clicks | CTA clicks per person |
“How much of my video did they watch?”
That is often more useful than a raw view. Someone who bounced at 8% is not the same as someone who sat through 80%. In Campaigns you can prioritise the people who went deep. Call them first.
If you only need a gut check on one link, Share analytics still tell you whether the page is doing anything. If your pipeline review needs names, Campaigns are the tool.
What you cannot track (and why people get stuck)
- Email attachments: you know you sent a file, not that they watched it
- Most chat apps: the clip plays inside the app with no sales analytics
- Many “unlisted” YouTube links: fine for content, weak for named B2B follow-up
If your current workflow cannot answer “who watched?”, the host is wrong for sales, not your persistence.
What to do once you can see it
- 1Publish the video on a Share Page with one clear next-step button
- 2If you have a list, launch a Campaign so each person gets a personal link
- 3Sort by watch depth and button clicks
- 4Follow up the engagers. Leave the ghosts alone for a bit.
